🌈 This Week in Nursery 🌈
We have been enjoying the wonderful story ‘How do you make a rainbow?’ by Caroline Crowe, sparking lots of lovely conversations among the children! They even made connections to the Colour Monster, supporting their communication and language skills.
Our little learners have been busy creating rainbow sticks by wrapping colourful wool around sticks, helping develop fine motor skills and concentration. They also worked together to sort shapes to build rainbow, boosting their understanding of colours, shapes, and teamwork.
In maths, the children talked about the colours of the Number Blocks and created their own with paper squares. This hands-on activity gave them valuable practice with 1:1 counting and number formation, strengthening their early numeracy and fine motor skills.
We are so proud of how engaged and curious the children have been this week, developing key skills through fun, hands-on activities.
