During Science Week, the Year 6 children explored the wonders of nature. They built their own wormeries and discovered how worms transform dead leaves and other organic materials into soil.
Year 6 explored the concept of salt water density through an experiment. They began by making a prediction, then placed an egg in plain water followed by salt water to observe the difference. They discovered that the egg sank in the plain water because it was less dense, but floated in the salt water as it had a higher density.
