Mini Police

Mini Police For the past five weeks, we have been participating in sessions as ‘mini police.’ During these sessions, we learned about important topics such as bullying, road safety, internet safety, personal safety, and anti-social behaviour. We also gained valuable skills on how to handle challenging situations and keep ourselves safe.

Parent Testimonial

Overall, my family’s experience within the London Colney Primary community has been extremely positive. I have had four of my own children and two nieces attend the school, and all of them have enjoyed their time there and felt supported throughout their journey.
One of the strongest positives of the school is the dedication shown by both the teachers and the headteacher, particularly in preparing the children for their SATs. The children are always put first, with genuine care taken to understand and support their individual needs.
A standout example of this was the support my daughter received during her SATs preparation. She is now in Year 8, but at the time there were concerns that she might not meet the expected levels. The attention, reassurance, and encouragement she received — especially from the headteacher — were outstanding. This calm and supportive approach made a huge difference to her confidence, and she went on to pass her SATs successfully.
My son is currently in Year 6 and preparing for his SATs. The decision to bring back a former teacher, who is exceptional at what she does, has given me great confidence that the children are in very capable hands. Both Year 6 teachers are outstanding in their field and are clearly committed to supporting the children through this important stage of their education.
I would also like to highlight the team in the main office. They are always welcoming, friendly, and professional, and greet you with a smile whenever you walk into the school. As the first people you see, they are a fantastic reflection of the school’s positive and caring environment.
While there have been some occasional challenges along the way, any concerns or complaints I have raised have always been dealt with effectively. I feel I have a strong and positive relationship with the school, and any issues are listened to and acted upon to the best of their abilities.
I am extremely grateful for the care, commitment, and support shown to my children, and I would confidently recommend London Colney Primary School to other families.
