Over the last couple of weeks, our focus has been on the British Science Week. Year 4 have enjoyed doing all sorts of experiments as well as exploring key Science vocabulary. For example, variables, hypothesis, predictions etc..
They were all very intrigued with the volcano experiment. We combined our whole school focus -recycling, with Science week by using up our empty, plastic water bottles and left over paper to build our volcano model. Once our models were complete, we went out onto the field and brought our volcano’s to life- using bicarbonate of soda, washing up liquid and vinegar!
